Felfela Village:
What started as a private retreat for the owners' family in suburban Cairo, Felfela
Village opened to the public in 1974. As the name foretells, Felfela village evokes
traditional country atmosphere in its true sense. The menu is unique in its selection,
offering iconic dishes , mastered over the years, like slow-cooked lamb shoulder
and baked-rice tagines which are rarely found in the capital. Visitors will also
enjoy watching "Baladi" bread and "Feteer Meshaltet" freshly baked in our wood-fired
ovens.
Felfela Village offers something for each member of the family. Apart from its sumptuous
menu, a folklore show from various parts of Egypt is performed on weekends and most
of the summer season (Jul-Sep). Also, the village contains a standalone children
playground and an amusement park where the little-ones can get busy with various
rides and attractions while the parents enjoy the village live show. Felfela village
is considered amongst the largest open-air restaurant in the country which also
makes it a great venue to hold special and private occasions
